Duje Dukan returns in 2013-14 after sitting out last season as a redshirt. Dukan suffered from mononucleosis in the fall of 2012 causing him to get a late start on the season and necessitating the redshirt. For his career, he has appeared in 21 career games. The son of a Chicago Bulls executive, Dukan has been around professional basketball his entire life, serving as a ball boy during the Bulls championship years in the 1990s. Born in Croatia and raised in the Chicago area, he garnered attention late in his high school career. The combination of shooting range and his long, 6-8 frame provides a tough match-up from the wing. Dukan spent the summer of 2011 playing with the Croatian National Team in the U-20 European Championships in Bilbao, Spain. On the Badgers' 2013 Canadian exhibition trip Dukan averaged 8.8 points shooting 53.3 percent from the field and was second on the team with 5.8 rebounds per game.
