A skilled big man, redshirt freshman Jared Berggren enters his second year in the program but his first year of eligibility. His size will bring an immediate physical presence to the Badgers' roster and could give him the opportunity to contribute early in his career. Berggren has added muscle to his lanky frame and possesses quickness for his size. He set the school's post player record for the 300-yard shuttle run this summer, breaking Paul Grant's record from 1996.
