MADISON, Wis. -- Is there a better way to increase your football knowledge than by learning from the best coaching staff in America? Of course not. Couple that with the opportunity to support a tremendous charity like Susan G. Komen and you have the ingredients for a great night.
That's what the Badgers' annual Football 101 for Women offers. This year's event, again titled RED + WHITE = PINK, is scheduled for Thursday, July 31 from 4-8 p.m. Tickets to the event are $80 per person with all proceeds benefitting the South Central Wisconsin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen. Space is limited so reserve your spot early.
Football 101 for Women includes on-field coaching and drills by UW Head Coach Gary Andersen and the assistant coaches and players, a player panel Q&A, a football equipment presentation, a Football 101 T-shirt, light snacks, and a prize drawing. Also included is a behind-the scenes tour of the fantastic new facilities at Camp Randall Stadium and the McClain Center including the football locker room and players lounge.
All who attend this WOMEN ONLY event are encouraged to dress in comfortable game day attire. To purchase tickets and see complete info on Football 101 for Women, please visit the Susan G. Komen of South Central Wisconsin web site.
