The Vision for a Student-Athlete Performance Center

"This will be an amazing upgrade for the entire athletic department, especially the student-athletes who call the football stadium area home. Our track and cross country student-athletes will have a new ultra-modern locker room space in the McClain Center which will make a tremendous impact on our programs. With the upgraded McClain training facility, new Fetzer Academic Center and Sports Medicine Center all in the same area, our student-athletes will be able to train, rehab, and study all within the same complex"

Our vision for the Student-Athlete Performance Center is to provide facilities that will continue to allow us to attract the best student-athletes to the University of Wisconsin. Once they are on campus, our focus remains consistent in providing student-athletes' with the very best in academic support, fitness training, and sports medicine care.

The Student-Athlete Performance Center will impact the majority of the Badger student-athletes through the enhancement of the academic support services, strength and conditioning, and sports medicine. Student athletes from all 23 sports will have access to additional programming and resources that aren't currently available.
