D'Mitrik Trice has had a big impact at Wisconsin since stepping onto campus in 2016. Having played in 112 games, including 77 career starts, Trice is the most experienced Badger on the roster. A Third-Team All-Big Ten honoree last season, Trice rounded out his game last season and set new career highs in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals while starting at point guard all 31 games. The Huber Heights, Ohio native averaged 9.8 points, 4.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game. Named a candidate for the 2021 Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award, Trice ranked second in the Big Ten last season with a 2.5 assist-to-turnover ratio. Scoring his 1,000th career point in UW's Big Ten title-clinching victory last season at Indiana, Trice became the first player in school history to amass 1,000 points, 300 rebounds and 300 assists by his junior season. Off the court, Trice is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten student.
