Message from the President
The Wisconsin Menís Basketball 2012-13 season celebrated many accomplishments which the fans, team and coaches can be proud of. The Badgers made their 15th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, the fourth-longest active streak in the nation and the third-longest in Big Ten history. UW has had seven consecutive 20-win seasons, the second-longest streak in the Big Ten. Jared Berggren set the Wisconsin career and single season blocks record, finishing with 144 career blocks, including 73 this season. Ryan Evans set the Badgersí career games played record, appearing in all 138 games of his career. Four players made the Academic All-Big Ten Team: Jared Berggren, Zach Bohannon, Ryan Evans and Dan Fahey. Bo Ryan was named Big Ten Coach of the Year for the third time.

We look forward to the 2013-14 season with the talented student-athletes presently on the team and the talented incoming freshmen.

We also look forward to hosting our club events. We invite you to join our Booster Team to enjoy the season and events together!

Go Badgers!

Message from Bo Ryan
Well, if the 2012-13 season didnít elevate your heart rate a few times, nothing will. Between the buzzer beaters and the challenging competition the Big Ten provided, it was a season like no other.

Iím extremely proud of what last yearís team overcame and how they were able to maximize every ounce of what we had. From an effort standpoint, I hope you got as much enjoyment from watching these guys as I did. There is no question that you were a part of our success.

While the postseason ended earlier than we would have liked, 2012-13 had its share of highs. Within the teamís 23 wins came a nationís-best seven over ranked teams and an exhilarating run to the Big Ten Tournament championship game. It was fun and reassuring to know the Badger Basketball Boosters were with us for every one of our triumphs.

No sooner had last season ended, than I started getting excited about our prospects of 2013-14. We will certainly miss our five seniors, but the development of our returning players combined with what looks to be an outstanding incoming freshman class gives us a chance to be special and carry on the tradition of what has become one of the best programs in the country.

Iíve said it many times, but it bears repeating, we are so fortunate to have the undying support and loyalty from our Booster Club. People from other programs around college basketball are always impressed and envious of what our Boosters accomplish in terms of raising money that directly assists our staff and student-athletes, and giving faithful support to our team. Please become a member of the UW Basketball family by joining the Badger Basketball Boosters.
