Trice will undergo foot surgery Monday, King out with knee injury
MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin guards D'Mitrik Trice and Kobe King will be out indefinitely with foot and knee injuries, respectively, the UW Sports Medicine Staff announced Saturday.
Trice will undergo surgery on his right foot on Monday and his initial rehab process will begin in 2-3 weeks. King will not play Saturday against Marquette with a left knee injury.
Playing a team-high 31.5 minutes per game, Trice ranks third on the Badgers in scoring with 9.4 points per game. The sophomore is also second in assists (2.3 apg) and leads the team with a 1.8 assist-to-turnover ratio (23-to-13).
King, a freshman, has appeared in all 10 games this season, averaging 19.0 minutes and 5.2 points per game, including a career-high 10 points (2-5 3FGs) against Ohio State on Dec. 2.
