Team Notes
  • The Badgers had a season high with 27 team fouls. Indiana took advantage of the fouls, shooting 23-31 from the free-throw line, the highest attempts and the second-highest makes by an opponent this season.
  • The Hoosiers were called for just nine fouls, a season low for an opponent this season. Indiana also failed to record a block in the game, the third time this year a foe has not had a block.
  • Wisconsin shot just 4-8 from the free throw line, tying a season low for attempts and marking the second-fewest makes this season.
  • UW recorded a season-low 28 rebounds.
  • The Badgers tied a season low with one steal.
  • Wisconsin held Indiana to just three 3-pointers, well below its season average of 6.3 triples her game, and tying for the fewest makes by an opponent this season. The Hoosiers also shot just 17.6 percent from behind the arc, the second lowest by a foe this year and well below their season average of 35.8 percent.
 
Individual Notes
  • Redshirt sophomore Roichelle Marble earned her first start of the season and just the second start of her career. The 5-8 guard finished with three points in 15 minutes, shooting 1-2 from the field, including 1-1 from 3-point range.
  • Freshman Suzanne Gilreath has scored at least one 3-pointer in 14 straight games. The 5-4 guard led the Badgers with three triples today, her seventh game this season with three or more treys.
  • Junior Cayla McMorris scored a team-high 13 points, her first double-figure scoring game since hitting 13 at Penn State on Jan. 16. It marked the ninth time this season she has led the team in scoring and her 15th time in double figures.
  • Freshman Courtney Fredrickson keyed a strong start in the third quarter for Wisconsin, hitting seven of its first 11 points. The 6-2 forward finished with nine points, shooting 50 percent (4-8) from the field.
  • Redshirt senior Kendall Shaw was a perfect 2-2 from the field today. The 6-4 center also pulled down three rebounds and had one block in 19 minutes of play.
