- Wisconsin improves to 21-14 in Big Ten openers, dating back to 1982, including improving to 13-6 at home. Â
- UW has now won 13-straight Big Ten matches, dating back to the 2015 season, and 12-straight home matches, also dating back to 2015.
- The Badgers defeated their fifth top-20 ranked team of the season as they swept No. 17 Ohio State.
- Wisconsin recorded its second sell out of the season of 6,012. The Badgers are averaging a school-record 5,976 fans per match this season.
- UW outblocked the Buckeyes 15.0 – 2.0. The Badgers tied a season high for team blocks as they also had 15 stops in their five-set match at No. 2 Texas. The 15 blocks ranks second on the UW single-match record list under 25-point rally scoring.
- The Badgers recorded a three-set season high seven service aces.
