McKenna Meuer and

The Big Ten Medal of Honor award is presented annually at each Big Ten institution to a male and female student-athlete in the graduating class who has demonstrated proficiency in scholarship and athletics. The conference's most exclusive award, it was the first of its kind in intercollegiate athletics to recognize academic and athletic excellence.
McKenna Meuer, Women's Soccer
Heralded by head coach
Paula Wilkins as the epitome of what it means to be a Badger, senior
McKenna Meuer left her mark on the Wisconsin women's soccer program before her time was up in Madison. A Madison, Wisconsin, native, Meuer helped guide the Badgers to win back-to-back Big Ten titles her junior and senior seasons.
A team captain this past season as a senior, Meuer led Wisconsin on an unforgettable midseason turnaround that culminated in the Badgers capturing a share of their first Big Ten regular season championship since 1994. The three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree had a breakout season in her final campaign with Wisconsin, finishing second on the team in points after tallying career highs in points (15), goals (6) and assists (3).
Meuer was crucial in helping Wisconsin win the 2014 Big Ten Tournament Championship, which marked UW's first tournament title since 2005.
A four-year starter, Meuer played in 77 games and started all but one over the course of her collegiate career. She was named the team's Most Valuable Player her senior year by both her coaches and peers.
