News conferences set to introduce new coaches this week

Men’s hockey staff, women’s basketball head coach to be introduced in public events

MADISON, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin is set to announce a new set of coaches this week, and fans are encouraged to come welcome the new additions to the Badger family.

Men's hockey will introduce its newly hired coaching staff on Wednesday with a news conference at the Kohl Center. The introduction of the new coaching staff will take place inside the lower bowl at the north end of the arena at 12:30 p.m.

On Thursday, the Wisconsin women's basketball team will announce its new head coach with a ceremony at the Nicholas-Johnson Pavilion at 1 p.m.

Both events are open to the public. Fans should enter through Gate A of the Kohl Center for the men's hockey news conference, while fans attending the women's basketball announcement should enter through Gate B of the Kohl Center.
