Team Notes
  • Wisconsin scored 100 points for the first time since Dec. 16, 2004, when it defeated Santa Clara, 104-91. It is also the most points scored between the two teams combined in program history, besting the previous mark of 202 points (W, 123-79) set vs. Bradley on Dec. 5, 1982.
  • The Badgers outrebounded the Red Flash 61-42, as UW leads the Big Ten with 56.5 rebounds per game.
 
 
Individual Notes
  • Junior Cayla McMorris scored a career-high 31 points to lead all scorers, shooting a career-best 12-of-22 from the field. She also added a game and career-high four steals.
  • Freshman Courtney Fredrickson added a career-high 18 points on 6-of-18 shooting from the field and 5-of-6 from the free throw line. The 6-2 forward also tied her career high with six rebounds.
  • Freshman Gabby Gregory scored a career-high 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting (.714) including 2-of-3 from 3-point range. She also had a career-best five rebounds and one assist.
  • Freshman Suzanne Gilreath scored her first point in the Cardinal and White, hitting 1-of-2 from the free throw line. She also tied her career best of two rebounds.
  • Freshman Kendra Van Leeuwen pulled down a career-best five rebounds while dishing off a career-high three assists and recording a career-best two steals.
  • Sophomore Marsha Howard scored a career-high nine points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field, a career best for field goals made.
  • Redshirt junior Malayna Johnson was a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line, setting a career best for free throws made.
  • Redshirt senior Avyanna Young pulled down a UW-career high 15 rebounds. Her previous best was 13 against Minnesota on Jan. 23, 2016. Her career high is 18 at Wright State in 2014 when she played at Milwaukee.
