TULSA, Okla. --Â For two Wisconsin men's tennis players --
Lamar Remy and
Josef Dodridge -- the fall season continued this Saturday at the 2016 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Both Badgers participated in the prequalifying round of the tournament and picked up wins.

Lamar Remy played exceptionally at the ITA Championship, winning both of his matches and continuing his run in the bracket.

In his first match of the day, Remy squared off against TCU's Reese Stalder and won in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. In his second match, Remy dominated the court against Marco Paul Castro of South Dakota State, 6-1, 6-2.

Junior
Josef Dodridge, who suffered a first round loss a year ago at the ITA Championship, won convincingly against Eastern Washington's Wacil Bendjelti, 6-0, 6-2. In round two, Dodridge out-lasted Texas A&M's AJ Catanzariti by a score of 6-4, 2-6, 6-2.

Both the Badgers continue in bracket play tomorrow morning with the hope of advancing to qualifying play. The tournament runs as single elimination.
"Lamar and Joe played exceptionally today," assistant coach
Scoville Jenkins said. "They competed incredibly hard and handled adversity very well. Their work in practice is starting to show and I couldn't be happier for them."
