O’Hoisin to join Badgers in the spring, Colton in fall of 2016
MADISON, Wis. -- Head men's tennis coach Danny Westerman announced Thursday that Chase Colton and Osgar O'Hoisin have both signed their national letters of intent to attend the University of Wisconsin. O'Hoisin will begin playing with the team this spring season, while Colton will joining the Badgers in the fall of 2016.
"We are absolutely thrilled to be adding both Osgar and Chase to our program," Westerman said. "Osgar will be able to give us an immediate lift this spring. He is a big, athletic player that likes to play aggressive tennis. Chase is a great all-around player that has played with and defeated some of the nation's best for most of his junior career. To be able to attract both Osgar and Chase shows how much we have to offer to our student-athletes here at Wisconsin."
CHASE COLTON

A Blue Chip recruit from Davie, Florida, Chase Colton has made quite a name for himself in the tennis world. The 20th-ranked recruit by TennisRecruiting.net, Colton was also rated seventh in the country in the USTA Boys 16s category. Colton has accrued multiple impressive titles, such as the Plantation ITF Champion and the Claremont ITF Doubles Champion. Colton's career high ITF ranking is #307 and he boasts a 59-17 record, going 11-2 against other five-star recruits.
OSGAR O'HOISIN

Osgar O'Hoisin will join the Badgers this spring as an international student from Dublin, Ireland. Though new to the team, O'Hoisin has no shortage of experience under his belt. The 6-foot-4 prospect has claimed the Irish National Indoor Championship twice, in 2012 and 2015, and has competed as a semifinalist and finalist as the ITF level. More recently, O'Hoisin was ranked 1438 by ATP Doubles in September 2015, and also earned the title of 2015 Irish Men's Close Champion.
