MADISON, Wis. -- The University of Wisconsin wrestling team has signed four to its 2010 recruiting class, head coach Barry Davis has announced.  Nikola Bogojevic, Matthew Cavallaris, Alex Gilpin and Timmy McCall have signed national letters of intent and will be eligible prior to the 2010-11 season.

McCall is a native of Hope Mills, N.C., and is projected to wrestle at Wisconsin at 184 lbs. While wrestling at South View High, McCall won the 2009 North Carolina Class 4A state championship. In addition, he finished seventh at the 2009 NHSCA Junior Nationals.

Cavallaris is from Naperville, Ill., and wrestles at Neuqua Valley. He placed sixth in Class 3A at the 2009 Illinois State Championships. Cavallaris, who will likely wrestle at 125 lbs. in college, also earned a seventh-place finish at the 2009 Junior National Freestyle Championships.

Superior, Wis., native Niko Bogojevic is projected to wrestle as a heavyweight when he suits up for the Badgers. A champion at the 2009 Greco-Roman Junior Nationals, Bogojevic was ranked fifth by WIN Magazine prior to the 2009 high school season. At the 2009 Junior Freestyle Championships, Bogojevic, who wrestles for Superior High School, placed third.

Gilpin, a native of San Antonio, Texas, won the 2009 Texas 5A state championship while wrestling for Reagan High School.

The Wisconsin wrestling team is in action this weekend at the Cliff Keen Invitational in Primm, Nev.
