Benjamin Fraser, Director of Guest Services

Ben Fraser was named the Director of Guest Services for University of Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletics in April 2010. He is responsible for the planning and execution of the comprehensive guest services operations and enhancing the fan experience. The UW Athletic Department hosts events for 23 intercollegiate teams, concerts, university functions, and WIAA State High School Championships. Fraser is involved with the staffing, planning, and implementation for all Athletic Department and external events which annually amount to 500 events averaging 1.8 million guests to seven athletic department venues.

He also has oversight of the ďRolling out the Red Carpet CampaignĒ, a joint venture between the Athletic Department and the Chancellorís Office, as well as the Departmentís Recycling Campaign. Fraser serves as the main contact for the athletic department for guests with ADA concerns and sits on the campus Accessibility Committee. He is also responsible for the athletic department facility tours, which in 2012, provided over 12,000 Badger Fans the opportunity to go behind the scenes of Badger Athletics.

Fraser was previously employed at the University of Wisconsin Ė River Falls, where he was the Assistant Director of Sport Facilities. In his role at UW-River Falls, Fraser assisted with the oversight and execution of university events and facility projects for the 80,000-square foot Hunt/Knowles Complex. Fraser also had game management responsibilities for Menís and Womenís Hockey, Soccer and Menís and Womenís Track and Field and played an integral part of the planning and execution of Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp each summer

Prior to UW-River Falls, Fraser interned with the Florida State University Athletic Department. In this role, he assisted with the Event and Facility Operations Department. Fraser is also still currently a member of the Minnesota Twins Training Camp Coaching Staff.

Fraser earned his bachelorís degree from the University of Wisconsin Ė LaCrosse in Sport Management and Business while competing as an NCAA student-athlete. Fraser earned his masterís degree from Florida State University in Sport Administration. Originally from Roseville, Minn., Fraser, his wife Danielle, and their son currently reside in Verona, Wis.
