FOOTBALL (7-5, 4-4 Big Ten)
This Week: Wisconsin heads back to Indianapolis to make its second-consecutive appearance in the Big Ten Football Championship Game, where the Badgers face No. 14 Nebraska for a trip to the Rose Bowl. UW is in search of a third-consecutive Big Ten title for the first time in school history.

Last Week: The Badgers suffered another heartbreaking defeat, falling to Penn State in overtime, 24-21. The loss is UW's third overtime setback in its last four games and left the Badgers with a third-place finish in the Leaders Division.

Need to Know: Wisconsin and Nebraska represent two of the winningest programs in the nation over the past four seasons. UW has the FBS' 11th-best win percentage since the start of the 2009 season at .750 (39-13), while Nebraska ranks 13th at .736 (39-14).

Good to Know: The Big Ten Football Championship Game is set for 7:17 p.m. (CT) and airs live on FOX. The game can also be heard statewide on the Badger Radio Network and online or on mobile devices via iHeartRadio. MEN'S BASKETBALL (4-2, 0-0 Big Ten)
This Week: The Badgers return to the Kohl Center for a pair of non-conference contests. UW begins its week by welcoming Virginia to the Kohl Center as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Wed., Nov. 28 before battling California on Sun., Dec. 2.

Last Week: Following an 84-74 loss to 14th-ranked Creighton in the semifinals of the Las Vegas Invitational, the Badgers bounced back to earn the 77-70 comeback win in the consolation game against Arkansas on Saturday.

Need to Know: Senior forward Jared Berggren earned all-tournament team honors following Saturday's win. Berggren tallied a career-high 27 points in the loss to Creighton, while coming one rebound short (10 points, 9 rebounds) of recording his first career double-double against Arkansas.

Good to Know: Wednesday's game will be broadcast live on ESPN2, while Sunday's contest will air live on BTN. Fans can also follow both games via Gameday Live on UWBadgers.com.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL (3-2, 0-0 Big Ten)
This Week: The Badgers (3-2) take to the road for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Wednesday, playing at Virginia Tech (2-2). Tip-off is at 6 p.m. from Cassell Coliseum in Blacksburg, Va. Wisconsin returns home on Saturday to kick off a four-game homestand. The Badgers host Alabama (5-0) at 2 p.m. in the Kohl Center.

Last Week: The Badgers split in action at home last week, falling to Washington, 60-55, on Nov. 21 before dominating Evansville, 73-55, on Sunday.

Need to Know: Virginia Tech is a familiar place for three UW staff members. Head coach Bobbie Kelsey served as an assistant coach for the Hokies from 2004-07, assistant coach Stacy Cantley was an assistant coach from 2004-11, while director of operations Jill Jameson served in the same capacity at Virginia Tech from 2004-11.

WOMEN'S HOCKEY (10-4-2, 6-4-2-2 WCHA)
This Week: The women's hockey team renews the Border Battle rivalry this weekend, heading to Minneapolis for a Saturday-Sunday series against No. 1 Minnesota. Both games start at 2 p.m.

Last Week: The Badgers extended their winning streak at LaBahn Arena, sweeping St. Cloud State. Wisconsin started the series in dominating fashion routing the Huskies 6-0 on Friday. St. Cloud State responded in the second game by taking a 3-1 lead over Wisconsin, but the Badgers responded with five unanswered goals to finish the weekend sweep.
Need to Know: Saturday's game will be the first against Minnesota since the Badgers lost to the Gophers in the 2012 NCAA Frozen Four Final. Minnesota returns 12 players that skated in last year's title game against Wisconsin, while the Badgers return 14 players.

MEN'S HOCKEY (11-1-0, 7-1-0 WCHA)
This Week: Wisconsin (1-7-2, 1-5-2 WCHA) takes its final road trip of 2012 when it visits first-place Denver (9-3-0, 7-1-0 WCHA) for a conference series on Friday and Saturday. Friday's game begins at 9 p.m. CT, while Saturday's game is an 8 p.m. start.

Last Week: The Badgers lost two games to visiting Minnesota State by the same, 4-2, score.

Need to Know: Junior forward Michael Mersch leads the WCHA and ranks third in the nation with 0.80 goals-per-game. Mersch has eight goals in 10 games after scoring in both games last weekend.

Good to Know: Friday's game airs live on NBC Sports Network at 9 p.m. CT. No TV is available for Saturday's game, but a live video stream is available at Denverpioneers.com. Both contests air live on the radio, with Friday's game on WIBA-AM 1310 and Saturday's on WTSO-AM 1070. Live audio streams are free at Badgersportsnetwork.com. WRESTLING (3-2, 0-0 Big Ten)
This Week: The Wisconsin wrestling team (3-2) heads to Las Vegas this weekend to compete in the 31st annual Cliff Keen Invite from Nov. 30-Dec. 1. The Badgers will face some of the top competition in the country at the tournament, including 10 of the current top-25 teams in the nation and a total of 68 individually ranked wrestlers.

Last Week: The Badgers returned home to the UW Field House Saturday and defeated Northern Iowa, 24-13, for the team's third win of the season. After their wins against the Panthers, two UW wrestlers, Jackson Hein (197 lbs., 5-0) and Connor Medbery (Hwt., 4-0) remain undefeated on the season. 

Need to Know: Last season at the Cliff Keen Invite, Wisconsin finished tied for 26th in the field of 34 teams. Current volunteer assistant coach, Ben Jordan, was the only Badger wrestler to place in the tournament, finishing fifth at 165 lbs.

Good to Know: FlowWrestling.org will live stream, for a subscription and fee, the semifinals and finals of the Cliff Keen Invite on Dec. 1. UWBadgers.com will also have recaps following both Friday and Saturday's action.


MEN'S SWIM AND DIVE
This Week:  Wisconsin hits the road for the Ohio State Invitational this weekend.

Last Week: Following Wisconsin's win over Northwestern on Nov. 8, UW had two weeks off from competition.

Need to Know: Senior Michael Weiss was recently named the Big Ten Male Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 12, following his dominating performance to start the season. Weiss will also compete in the 2012 Short Course World Championships U.S. team. The short course world championships are scheduled for Dec. 12-15, in Istanbul, Turkey. UW head coach Whitney L. Hite will join Weiss on the U.S. squad as an assistant coach.

Need to Know: University of Wisconsin swimming and diving head coach Whitney L. Hite announced Wednesday that 13 high school seniors, including three Wisconsin natives, have all signed national letters of intent to attend the University of Wisconsin and compete for the Badgers' swim and dive program beginning in the fall of 2013.
