MADISON, Wis. -- Nov. 14 is National Signing day, which is the first day that high school seniors can sign a binding National Letter of Intent to attend a university and play college athletics. At Wisconsin, this means that future rosters begin to come into focus. This is your headquarters for information of the newest Badgers.
Head coach Bo Ryan announced Thursday that high school seniors Vitto Brown, Riley Dearing, Nigel Hayes, Jordan Hill and Bronson Koenig have all signed national letters of intent to attend the University of Wisconsin and play basketball for the Badgers beginning in the fall of 2013.
Three athletes, including the nation's No. 1 recruit, have signed National Letters of Intent to play volleyball at the University of Wisconsin beginning in 2013, head coach Pete Waite announced today.
The Badgers signed the top recruit in Lauren Carlini, a 6-2 setter/ hitter from Aurora, Ill. Waite also inked Tori Blake, a 6-3 middle blocker from Midland, Mich.; and Haleigh Nelson, a 6-3 middle blocker from Cary, N.C.
Head women's basketball coach Bobbie Kelsey announced the signing of two athletes to National Letters of Intent today. Mikey Crall, a 6-3 post from Olathe, Kan., and Malayna Johnson, a 6-3 post from Bellwood, Ill., will join the Badgers in 2013-14.
"I'm very pleased with this class," said Kelsey. "Real posts are hard to find and these two are very skilled. I think they will both work very hard to develop into collegiate players and they'll do what's asked of them to help our team."
Wisconsin men’s hockey head coach Mike Eaves announced the signing of three student-athletes to national letters of intent during the fall signing period. The signees include forwards Corbin McGuire (Ridgefield, Conn.) and Grant Besse (Plymouth, Minn.), as well as defenseman Tim Davison (De Pere, Wis.).
Wisconsin women's hockey head coach Mark Johnson announced the signing of five student-athletes to National Letters of Intent. Melissa Channell (Oakville, Ontario), Sydney McKibbon (Oakville, Ontario), Sarah Nurse (Hamilton, Ontario), Annie Pankowski (Laguna Hills, Calif.), and Jenny Ryan (Victor, N.Y.) plan to attend the University of Wisconsin and play hockey for the Badgers beginning in the 2013-14 season.
"The thing I like about this class is that they have all had the chance to wear their country's jersey, whether that's part of the U-18 or U-22 programs," Johnson said. "They've been part of that process and they're all very competitive players. They have goals in mind and hopefully we'll be able to help them attain some of those goals."

Badger men’s golf coach Michael Burcin will add three players UW men’s golf roster next fall. Ben Skogen of Onalaska, Wis., Richard Hubbard of Daniel Island, S.C., and Tommy Schofield of Mundelein, Ill., have all signed national letters of intent to attend the University of Wisconsin in 2013.
