FOOTBALL (5-2, 2-1 Big Ten)
This Week: Wisconsin and Minnesota meet for the 122nd time in the most-played rivalry in the Football Bowl Subdivision at 11 a.m. (CT) on Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.
Last Week: The Badgers rolled up 645 offensive yards - the second-highest total in school history - and derailed Purdue, 38-14, in West Lafayette. Senior RB Montee Ball ran for a career-high 247 yards and scored three touchdowns to become the Big Ten's all-time leader in TDs with 72.
Need to Know: Wisconsin has won eight straight games in the Border Battle with Minnesota and can tie the longest win streak by either team in the series' history with a win on Saturday. Minnesota won nine straight in the series from 1933-41.

VOLLEYBALL (15-6, 3-5 Big Ten)
This Week: The Badgers wrap up the first half of the Big Ten Conference season with a split week of play. Wisconsin travels to No. 10 Minnesota (15-3, 6-1) on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. match from the Sports Pavilion in Minneapolis. UW wraps up the first half of play at home on Friday, hosting Indiana (8-12, 0-8) at 7 p.m. in the UW Field House.
Last Week: Wisconsin split in Big Ten action last weekend, losing at No. 3 Nebraska (3-0) on Friday before coming back to win at Iowa (3-2) on Saturday.
Need to Know: Wisconsin needs only one more win to equal its victory total from 2011. The Badgers were 16-16 last season, tying for seventh in the Big Ten at 8-12.

WOMEN'S HOCKEY (3-2-1, 1-2-1-1 WHCA)
This Week: The women's hockey team returns home from a three-week road stretch for the highly-anticipated first games in LaBahn Arena. The Badgers play host to Bemidji State on Friday night at 7 p.m. to open the new arena. The weekend series wraps up on Sunday at 2 p.m.
Last Time Out: The Badgers entered AMSOIL Arena in Duluth, Minn., having beaten Minnesota Duluth four out of the previous five meetings between the teams. However, Wisconsin's offensive was put on ice all weekend as the Bulldogs blanked the Badgers in both games, 2-0 and 1-0, marking the first time since 2001 that Wisconsin has been shutout in back-to-back games.
Need to Know: Friday's game not only marks the opening of LaBahn Arena, but is the program's 500th game. Wisconsin women's hockey has an all-time record of 360-97-38 since beginning in 1999-2000 and is 283-48-27 with head coach Mark Johnson behind the bench.

MEN'S SOCCER (4-6-3, 1-2-0 Big Ten)
This Week: The men's soccer team caps off a three-game homestand, hosting Green Bay on Wednesday night at the McClimon Soccer Complex at 7 p.m. The Badgers then hit the road for their fourth Big Ten match of the season, taking on Michigan State Sunday at noon.
Last Week: Wisconsin split its home games last week, dropping a 1-0 decision to Milwaukee on Oct. 10. The Badgers rebounded over the weekend picking up their first conference win of the season, defeating Michigan 2-1.
Need to Know: Freshman goalkeeper Chase Rau is third in the Big Ten for most saves with 29. In conference only games, Rau ranks second with 15 saves.

MEN'S GOLF
This Week: The UW men's golf team continues its fall schedule Oct. 15-16 at the 54-hole Autotrader.com Collegiate Classic at the par 72 Berkeley Hills Country Club golf course in Duluth, Ga.
Last Week: The Badgers are coming off their third tournament of the season Oct. 8-9 where they tied for 14th with a 300-307-607 in the weather-shortened 36-hole Firestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio.
Need to Know: At the tough Firestone Course, freshmen Matt Ross led Wisconsin in his collegiate debut, tying for 22nd with a 4-over par 73-75-148.

MEN'S ROWING
This Week: The men's rowing team opens its fall season with a trip to Boston to compete in the Head of the Charles regatta.
Last Time Out: Last time we saw the Badger men in action was at the 2012 IRA National Championships in Camden, N.J. Wisconsin had two boats medal, and finished eighth overall at the team. In their respective races the open four finished second, the lightweight four finished third and the varsity eight finished eighth.
Need to Know: At last year's Head of the Charles, Wisconsin took the top spot in the championship men's four race for the second time in three years.

This Week: The women's rowing team heads to Boston for the Head of the Charles regatta on Sunday, Oct. 21.
Last Time Out: The Badger openweights had 11 boats compete three events at the Head of the Rock regatta Oct. 14, and despite some less-than-ideal weather conditions, turned in a strong showing. The openweights took the top two spots in the varsity fours race, as well as second and third in both the novice fours and novice eights races. Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions, the varsity eights race was cancelled.
Need to Know: In their first appearance at the Head of the Charles since 2003 last season, the Wisconsin openweights placed fifth in a tough Championship Women's Eight race.

WOMEN'S LIGHTWEIGHT ROWING
This Week: The women's lightweight rowing team heads to Boston for the Head of the Charles regatta on Sunday, Oct. 21.
Last Time Out: At the Head of the Rock on Oct. 14, the Badger lightweight novice teams captured the tops spots in both the Collegiate Novice Fours and Collegiate Novice Eights races. The Women's Collegiate Pairs race also featured eight UW lightweight boats, the highest of which placed third and fourth.
Need to Know: At last year's Head of the Charles, the Badger lightweights brought home the title in the women's lightweight eight race for the third-straight year, and the fifth time in the 21-year history of the race. They did so in dominating fashion, beating out the second place team by more than 23 seconds.

WOMEN'S SOCCER (10-5-1, 3-4-1 Big Ten)
This Week: The Badgers (10-5-1, 3-4-1 Big Ten) begin their three-match road swing to end the 2012 regular season with visits to Purdue and Indiana. UW takes on Purdue on Friday at 6 p.m. (CT) before battling Indiana on Sunday at noon.
Last Week: Wisconsin capped off its 3-0-0 week with a 2-1 double-overtime win over Illinois. Sophomore Cara Walls secured her second game-winner as many matches, notching the goal in the 100th minute on Sunday.
Need to Know: UW has eclipsed the 10-win plateau for the fourth-consecutive season under head coach Paula Wilkins. The Badgers have now won 10 or more games in seven of the past 10 seasons.
