Student Ticket Sales and Distribution Information

MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin men's basketball student season tickets for the 2010-11 season will go on sale to all full-time undergraduate and graduate students beginning Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 7:30 a.m. CDT. Tickets will be sold online at UWBadgers.com. This is a later on-sale date than was previously published.

Students interested in purchasing men’s basketball student season tickets are encouraged to login to their account on Friday, Sept. 10 or by 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 13 in advance of the sale, to ensure the best possible purchase experience on September 14.

All men’s basketball student season tickets will be sold as half-season packages. The 18-game home schedule will be split into two separate nine game half-season packages. A total of 2,100 tickets will be available to students in each half-season package. Students will have the flexibility to select the half-season package they wish to purchase, subject to availability. Students will be allowed to purchase only one ticket for one half-season package, while supplies last.

It is anticipated that there will be heavy demand for student season tickets. As students log in to their online account to purchase tickets, it is likely that they will be directed to a virtual waiting room page.

Once students enter the waiting room, as space allows, the software program will randomly select users to enter the flow to purchase tickets. The waiting room is designed to make the ticket purchasing experience as smooth as possible for high-demand ticket on-sales.

Student vouchers will be distributed at Gate 9 of Camp Randall Stadium beginning Monday, Oct. 25 at 8:30 a.m. Students will receive an e-mail regarding distribution the week of Oct. 18.

The allocation of tickets for students will closely resemble the process used for football, as well as for men’s hockey.

Tickets will be allocated using a first-come, first-served voucher exchange system. Student season ticket holders will receive vouchers for each game in their half-season package.

These vouchers must be exchanged on game day for a game ticket which includes a specific section, row and seat number. Full details on the game day voucher exchange process for men’s basketball can be found here.
