MADISON, Wis. - Over 300 generous donors to Wisconsin Athletics enjoyed the 2014 Football Training Camp Outing August 13 at Camp Randall Stadium.
The participants had an exclusive opportunity to watch the football team practice as they prepare for the season opener against LSU in Houston on August 30. Guests were also able to take photos with Paul Bunyan's Axe and the Heartland Trophy.
After practice, the voice of the Badgers, Matt Lepay, was the M.C. of a program which featured Head Coach Gary Andersen and players. Andersen provided a preview of the upcoming season and answered questions from the audience.
The crowd also heard from senior wide receiver Kenzel Doe and redshirt junior safety Michael Caputo on their thoughts on training camp and the upcoming season. Coach Andersen and his players thanked those in attendance for their support of Wisconsin Athletics.
The success of Wisconsin Athletics and Badger student-athletes depends, in great part, on the collective loyalty and generosity of alumni, fans and friends. Events like the Football Training Camp Outing provide an opportunity to say thank you to those donors.
