This years Buckys Buddies Soccer Clinic is right around the corner and there IS STILL ROOM to sign up! Make sure you secure a spot and mail in your registration form and payment today! Kids 12 and under have the opportunity to participate in a skills clinic given by the University of Wisconsin Mens and Womens soccer teams. For only $9 each participant will receive a camp T-shirt, pizza, and tickets to future games.
The soccer clinic will be held on Saturday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. Check-in for the clinic will begin at 10:15 a.m. at the McClimon Soccer Complex on the west side of campus near University Hospital. Free parking will be available in Lot 60, located directly across from the front gate of the soccer field. Once the clinic begins, parents and siblings are encouraged to stay and watch from the stands. Pizza and beverages will be served following the clinic at about 12:00 PM and an autograph session with the UW mens and womens teams will follow. The event wraps up at about 1:00 p.m.
For the clinic, please make sure that each participant brings their own tennis shoes, shinguards, ball and water bottle. It is VERY important to note that soccer cleats WILL NOT be allowed on the field. Tennis shoes must be worn in order to keep the field in good condition.
The Buckys Buddies Soccer Clinic, sponsored by Physicians Plus Insurance Corporation, is a great opportunity for kids to interact with their favorite Wisconsin mens and womens soccer players as well as practice their soccer skills! Click here for a registration form.
