MADISON, Wis. -- More than 160 golfers descended on University Ridge for the 12th-annual Legends of Wisconsin Golf Classic, hosted by the Wisconsin Athletic Development office and the National W Club, last week.
The Legends of Wisconsin Classic is one of the most unique events put on each year by the UW Athletic Department, bringing together two very notable groups; former Badgers greats and those individuals that generously contribute to Wisconsin Athletics.
The day started with a clinic hosted by two-time U.S. Open champion Andy North and PGA tour professional and Madison native Jerry Kelly. North and Kelly took the group on a walkthrough of how they would play Holes 1 and 9 at University Ridge Golf Course and gave pointers of different golf scenarios.
