Legends of Wisconsin Golf Classic hosts more than 120 golfers

Madison, Wis., -- More than 120 golfers descended on University Ridge for the 11th annual Legends of Wisconsin Golf Classic on Monday.

The day started with a short clinic hosted by current PGA Tour golfer and Madison native Jerry Kelly. Kelly took the group on a walkthrough of the first two holes.

After the lesson, the golfers ate lunch before departing at 1:00 for a four-person scramble. Notable Badgers in attendance included, Bo Ryan, Ron Dayne, Mike Eaves, John Moffitt, Barry Richter, Joe Thomas, Scott Tolzien and Jessie Vetter.

Donors to Wisconsin Athletics support the educational and facility needs of over 800 student-athletes that compete in 23 varsity sports.
