Badger Fund Announces Staff Changes

Effective March 1, Badger Fund Office staff members will take on new duties and responsibilities to better serve the departments development efforts and its patrons according to Marija Pientka, Associate Athletic Director for Development.

Cathy Duffy, who most recently served as Stewardship Manager for the Badger Fund, will be elevated to Director of Internal Operations for the Badger Fund. In that capacity, Cathy will have the primary responsibility for developing, managing and evaluating the financial and systems administration for all annual fund and major gift efforts. She will continue to coordinate all general stewardship activities, such as the Thank-a-Thon, invitations to the Camp Randall and Kohl Center Suite and cumulative recognition program. She will also continue to support suite and club seats sales and administration efforts. Cathy has been with the Badger Fund since its inception in 2000 and has played a key role in the growth of the Departments overall development efforts.

Nancy Eifert, who previously served as development manager, will be elevated to Stewardship Manager- Annual Giving for the Badger Fund. Now in her 20th year with Wisconsin Athletics, she will be responsible for developing and managing the Badger Funds annual fund benefits including stewardship events such as the Legends of Wisconsin Classic, Training Camp Outing and Party at the Pavilion. Nancy will now serve as the development offices contact for the Kellner Club. She will continue to manage the Brickwalk Terrace which has seen substantial growth in sales during her tenure.
