MADISON, Wis. -- With conference play now underway, it’s a great time for Wisconsin men’s basketball fans to be thinking about this year’s Big Ten Basketball Tournament. The tourney will be contested in Chicago for the first time since 2007.
Traditionally, the Badgers have enjoyed outstanding support from faithful fans at the Big Ten Tournament, and we look forward to seeing that support again in 2013, a year in which the Big Ten is widely regarded to be the top conference in all of college basketball.
This year’s tournament is scheduled for March 14-17 at the United Center. There are a number of different ways to purchase tickets and be part of the atmosphere, whether you are a donor/season ticket-holder, UW student, or general public patron.
Donors and men’s basketball season ticket-holders may request tickets by signing into their online account or calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-GO-BADGERS. The priority deadline for donors and men’s basketball season ticket-holders to request tickets is Wednesday, Jan. 23.
UW Students will receive ticket purchasing information via e-mail by Friday, Jan.y 25. Students will have an opportunity to purchase all-session tickets at a greatly reduced rate.
General public patrons are invited to purchase all-session tickets, based on availability, from the Athletic Ticket Office beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28. Tickets will be sold while supplies last or until Wednesday, Jan. 30, whichever comes first. General public patrons may also look to purchase tickets through Ticketmaster.
