MEN'S BASKETBALL (15-0)
This Week: Wisconsin returns to the Kohl Center to take on its second ranked foe in as many games when No. 22 Illinois visits on Wednesday at 8 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast live on BTN.
Last Week: The Badgers opened Big Ten play with a pair of wins, knocking off Northwestern, 76-49 on the road and earning a 75-71 win over then 22nd-ranked Iowa at home on Sunday.
Need to Know: UW has trailed at halftime in only 38 of 208 home games under Bo Ryan and have now come back to win 25 of those 38.

MEN'S HOCKEY (11-6-1, 2-2-0-0)
This Week: Wisconsin returns to conference play for the first time since Nov. 30 when Michigan (10-4-2, 2-0-0-0) visits the Kohl Center this Friday and Saturday. Friday's game is an 8 p.m. game, while Saturday begins at 7 p.m.
Last Week: UW posted a split against visiting Alaska Anchorage, falling 3-2 on Friday, before salvaging a 4-3 victory on Saturday.
Need to Know: Wisconsin plays its first series against Michigan since 1981 when the two teams were members of the WCHA. The teams have met 24 times since then, but never twice in a weekend.
Good to Know: Friday's game is part of BTN's first Friday Night Ice doubleheader of the season, while Saturday's game will show on Fox Sports Wisconsin alternate. Dan Kelly and Ben Clymer call the game Friday on BTN, while Paul Braun and Barry Richter will call the action on Saturday. Both can also be seen at BTN2Go.com and on the BTN2Go app. Saturday's game also airs tape-delayed at 10 p.m. on Wisconsin Channel with Robb Vogel and Ron Vincent on the call. The games will air live statewide on the Badger Radio Network. Friday, Paul Braun and Bill Howard will call the radio action in a special throwback broadcast to help celebrate Braun's 40th season in the Badger hockey broadcast booth. This Week: After a sweep of St. Cloud State last weekend, No. 2 Wisconsin returns home to face No. 4/5 North Dakota (12-4-2, 9-3-2) at LaBahn Arena. UW and UND meet on Saturday in a 2 p.m. contest before wrapping up the series Sunday at 3 p.m.
Last Week: The Badgers extended their nation-leading unbeaten streak to 16 games with a sweep of St. Cloud State. Wisconsin earned a 3-1 triumph last Friday before blanking SCSU 4-0 on Saturday.
Need to Know: The Badgers lead the country in scoring defense, giving up an average of 0.95 goals per game.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL (8-5, 1-0)
This Week: The Badgers wrap up their Big Ten-opening two game road trip with a game at Michigan (10-4, 1-0) on Thursday. Tip time is 6 p.m. CT from Crisler Center in Ann Arbor, Mich. UW opens the Big Ten home season on Sunday, hosting Iowa (12-4, 0-2) at noon in the Kohl Center.
Last Week: Wisconsin improved to 12-20 all-time in Big Ten openers with a 76-64 overtime win at Illinois last Friday. Third-year head coach Bobbie Kelsey won her first Big Ten opener.
Need to Know: Senior Taylor Wurtz led the Badgers over Illinois last Friday with a career-best 19 rebounds and tied her career high with 27 points. Her rebounds tie her for fourth on the UW single-game record list and ties for first among Big Ten athletes this season.

This Week: No. 23 Wisconsin hosts No. 9 Ohio State Friday night at the UW Field House at 7 p.m. The Badgers then travel to No. 2 Minnesota on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match inside the Sports Pavilion in Minneapolis, Minn.
Last Week: Led by Tyler Graff's fourth-place finish at 133 lbs., the Badgers had four wrestlers finish in the top eight at the 51st Ken Kraft Midlands Championships in Evanston, Ill.. UW finished eighth in the team standings with 62.5 points.
Need to Know: All Wisconsin wrestling Facebook fans will receive free admission to Friday's dual by printing off a voucher posted on the wrestling Facebook page. The first 100 fans in attendance will receive a free Bucky Book and the team will be available after the dual to sign autographs.
