Service LevelThe service (lower) level includes eight locker rooms: men's basketball, women's basketball, hockey, visiting basketball, visiting hockey, game officials and two tournament. Facilities for sports medicine, strength and conditioning and a full service equipment room with laundry facilities are available for team use. Also found on the service level is a full service kitchen, media work room and interview room, arena control office and storage area.  Cost of Kohl CenterThe total cost to construct the Kohl Center was $76.4 million. The financing featured $49.4 million in private donations, including $25 million from U.S. Senator Herb Kohl, $10 million from former UW basketball player Ab Nicholas and his wife Nancy Johnson, $2.5 million from the Kellner family and $27 million in state bonding. No state tax dollars were used for construction of the Kohl Center. State bonds and operating costs will be paid by the UW Athletic Department with revenues generated by the Kohl Center. Kohl Center OfficesThe UW men's and women's basketball and UW hockey coaches offices are located off of the Kellner Concourse. The Kohl Center administrative offices are located on the mezzanine level above the UW Athletic Ticket Office. This center handles most customer concerns including locating lost children, providing assisted listening devices and answering any other questions.
