The facility is located at the team’s 33-acre outdoor practice are at University Ridge Golf Course. The grounds crew for University Ridge tends to the outdoor practice facility daily keeping it in championship tournament condition at all times.

The facility was made possible in large part due to the generous lead gift provided by former Wisconsin golfer, Bob Bruce. Bruce, a 1953 Wisconsin graduate and two-year member of the golf team, has been a longtime supporter and ambassador for the University of Wisconsin.
