Boosters/Representatives of Athletics Interests
This sub site is intended to highlight some topics pertinent to you as a representative of athletics interests.
It is difficult to cover every possible rule and regulation governing representatives of athletics interests. Therefore, please always contact a Compliance Office staff member before taking any action that may be contrary to NCAA rules.
Essential Information
All forms of electronic communication by a representative of athletics interest with a prospect are considered recruiting correspondence.
All student-athlete appearances or involvement in promotions must be coordinated through the UW Athletic Department.
According to NCAA regulations, representatives of athletics interests may not make any recruiting contacts.
Special arrangements to provide a benefit to a student-athlete, or student-athlete's relative, coach or friend, are prohibited.
