General Registration Questions

- The easiest way to register for our camps is to click “Register Online”, enter the required information and pay with a credit card. If online registration is not possible, please follow the instructions on the camp brochure.

- Some camps offer early registration and group discounts. Please read your specific camp brochure for more information.

- Many of our camps do fill up early. If you would like to sign up for a waiting list, please email us at badgercamps@athletics.wisc.edu

- Normally camp confirmation packets are sent to camp participants 2-3 weeks prior to the camp date. Camp confirmation packets may also be available online. Please check the camp web page for more information.

General Camp Questions

- Parents are welcome to attend all camp sessions. If you need to remove your child for any reason, please notify the Camp Administrator.

- In case of emergency, please call the Director of Camps Office at 608-265-4134 between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. If you have an emergency after those hours please contact the Camp Administrator as indicated in your camp confirmation packet or our Camps Hotline at 608-228-3488.

- Room and board costs are included in the camp fees. Various camps sell athletic apparel or other merchandise. If campers wish to participate in these activities, additional funds are needed.

- Many of our summer camps offer two enrollment options for campers - resident and commuter. Resident campers (also called "overnight campers") stay on campus in the dorms at night, whereas commuter campers (also called "day campers") "commute" between campus and their home (or where they are staying) each day.

Parking and Transportation Questions

- For the protection of our campers, camp participants who drive themselves to camp must turn in all keys at check-in. Keys will be returned at checkout.

Housing Questions

- When you go through the check-in process, all campers stop at the Trainers table, this is where you should discuss your child’s medications and how the trainer should handle them.

- Campers may request a specific roommate on their registration form. Roommates are assigned by the Camp Administrator. Please contact them for further information.

- University Housing residence halls provide student-style housing conveniently located on campus near camps. Each air conditioned room includes twin beds with bed linens and pillows, microfridges, desks, Internet and cable television connections (via personal laptop) and shared bathroom facilities. Floor lounges include televisions and telephones with free local calls. Laundry and vending machines are located within most halls.

Medical Questions

- Yes. Meals are included in the camp fee but snacks are permitted between meals. Residence Halls and campus buildings have vending machines.

- Health forms are due Prior to your child participating in any camp activity. The easiest way to complete the form is to fill it out online while you are registering for the camp. Please click here for a copy of our health form.

- If your child is injured during camp, they will be taken to our athletic trainer immediately, and the athletic trainer will determine what action is required. If necessary, the athletic trainer will contact the parent/guardian and discuss care options. Cost for treatment of injuries and/or hospitalization is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

- Campers are encouraged to have their own health insurance as limited accident insurance is provided by the University. The camp provides limited accident insurance, which is primary up to $7,500.

Conduct Questions

- All campers are expected to conduct themselves in a manner conducive to learning. Any misconduct will result in immediate dismissal and forfeiture of fees.

Cancellations and Refund Questions
