First up Nikki Kaasa! Kaasa has seen action in four games, allowing only one goal. She gained experience in the net during Wisconsin's exhibition game against Team USA during the 2009-10 season. After making 12 saves, Nikki earned "Wisconsin Player of the Game" accolades. Nikki has made 12 saves this season including single-game highs of five stops in Wisconsin's wins over Minnesota State and Lindenwood, owning a .923 save percentage this year.

Brittany Haverstock has played in 141 games, steadying the Wisconsin blue line as a member of two National Championship teams. She has earned WCHA honors in all three of her previous seasons, being named to the All-WCHA Rookie Team her freshman year, selected to the WCHA All-Star Team her sophomore year and the All-WCHA Third Team last season. Brittany has also been a member of the Canada's National Women's Under-22 Team earning a gold medal at the 2011 MLP Cup and a silver medal at the 2009 MLP Cup.

Carolyne Prévost will play in her 138th game today for Wisconsin. She has earned numerous accolades during her Badger career including being named to the NCAA Frozen Four All-Tournament Team last season after scoring two goals in the National Championship game against Boston University. Not only successful on the ice, Prévost was named to the 2011 CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District Second Team and twice to the All-WCHA Academic Team. She is also a three-time WCHA Scholar Athlete and a two-time Big Ten Scholar Athlete. Carolyne has also earned two gold medals with Canada's National Women's Under-22 Team in 2010 and 2011.

A valuable contributor for four years, Brooke Ammerman has played in 145 games in her career at Wisconsin and has become one of only four Badgers ever to record more than 200 career points. She is also one of three Badgers ever to have a four-goal game, completing the feat twice. In her first season, Brooke was named to the All-WCHA Rookie Team and WCHA Final Face-off All-Tournament Team. Brooke was also named to WCHA All-Star Team her sophomore year. After scoring against Boston College and Boston University at the Frozen Four last season, Brooke was named to the NCAA Frozen Four All-Tournament Team and All-WCHA Third Team for the second time in her career.

A two-time All-American and a two-time Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award top-10 finalist, team captain Hilary Knight is the all-time points and goals leader in program history. Her 140 goals lead all Badger hockey players, male or female, topping the 125 goals scored by current women's hockey head Mark Johnson. She also holds the program lead for most game-winning goals at 28, and is the only Badger to record a five-goal game. In the 2009-10 season, Hilary took a year off to compete as the youngest member of the U.S. Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games, helping the team earn silver with one goal and seven assists.
