Meaghan Mikkelson has accomplished a lot during her hockey
career, winning two NCAA titles while playing for the Wisconsin women's hockey team and two Olympic gold medals while with Team Canada.
Mikkelson is trying something new this summer as the 2007 Wisconsin graduate is competing with Team Canada teammate Natalie Spooner on "The Amazing Race Canada."
Mikkelson and Spooner, who played her college hockey at WCHA-rival Ohio State, helped Canada capture gold at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi as Team Canada overcame a two-goal deficit to beat the United States in the gold medal game.
The two have continued their success during "The Amazing Race Canada", winning each of the first three legs of the race.
During the first leg of the competition, the pair ziplined, skydived and had to serve tea at a hotel in Victoria. Mikkelson and Spooner faced a few challenges in the second episode, as the duo fell behind during a fish sorting challenge, but rallied to win their second-straight leg of the race.
Mikkelson and Spooner used their Express Pass that they earned after winning the first episode to gain a sizable lead on their opponents during the third episode. After Mikkelson ate snake while in Hong Kong, the two went on to win their third-straight leg of the race.
The fourth episode of "The Amazing Race Canada" airs tonight on CTV. Fans can watch full episodes of the show on the CTV website.
