Tam Flarup chronicled all the action from today's game between the Badgers (11-17, 3-12) and the Nebraska Cornhuskers (22-6, 12-3) with the live Gameday Blog. The Badgers lost to the Nebraska 55-53 at the Kohl Center to close out the regular home game season.

Here is Wisconsin's injury report for the remainder of the season. The Badgers will only have nine healthy players the rest of the way. Senior Taylor Wurtz has elected to take a medical redshirt for the rest of the 2012-13 season. The 6-0 guard has been bothered by a re-occurring back problem and had surgery Jan. 3. Sophomore AnnMarie Brown had surgery Jan. 4 for a torn ACL suffered in practice Dec. 18. She is out for the season as well.

The Badgers (11-16 overall, 3-11 Big Ten) wrap up the regular season with two games this week. Wisconsin hosts No. 20 Nebraska (21-6, 11-3) on Thursday for its annual Senior Night. Tip time is 7 p.m. from the Kohl Center.
The regular season wraps up on Sunday with a road game at Michigan State (20-6, 8-5). Tip off is at 1 p.m. CT from the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Mich.

Cassie Rochel leads the Big Ten in conference-only games, shooting 56 percent from the field and averaging 2.4 blocks per game. She also leads the league and ranks 17th nationally in all games, averaging 2.6 blocks per game.

With four blocks at Northwestern on Feb. 23, junior Cassie Rochel went over the 100 career block mark. The 6-4 post has 101 blocks in her career, which ranks 10th on the UW all-time list.

Freshman Nicole Bauman has scored 12-or-more points the last three games to up her season average to 7.2 points per game, which ranks third on the team and fourth among Big Ten freshmen. She averages 13.3 points per game over the stretch.

Senior Tiera Stephen has double-figure rebounds the last two games with 10 rebounds at Illinois on Feb. 18 and tying her career best with 11 boards at Northwestern on Saturday.
The 5-7 point guard has upped her rebounding average to 6.3 per game, which ranks second on the team.

Wisconsin has the 17th toughest schedule in the nation, according to the Jeff Sagarin/CBN Women's College Basketball Ratings released Feb. 25. Schedule strength is based on games between all 345 Division I teams.
The Badgers rank second in the Big Ten behind Iowa (14th). Illinois (21st), Nebraska (22nd), Purdue (24th) and Penn State (25th) all rank in the top 25. Eleven of 12 conference teams rank among the top 56 teams in the national strength of schedule ratings.

The Badgers have won 11 games this season, improving upon last season's record by two wins. UW was 9-20 in head coach Bobbie Kelsey's first season.
Wisconsin downed No. 7 Penn State on Jan. 31, its first win over a ranked team since the 2009-10 season, handing the Lady Lions their only Big Ten loss of the season.

Wisconsin has to be one of the fittest teams in the country with all five starters averaging more than 27 minutes per game. In Big Ten play, all five starters average more than 29 minutes per game. 
In Big Ten games, three Badgers rank in the top 10 for minutes played--Morgan Paige is fourth with 38.5 minutes per game; Jacki Gulczynski is sixth with 38.2 minutes per game; and Cassie Rochel ranks 10th at 36.7 minutes per game. Northwestern has two players that rank in the top 10. 
Gulczynski set a school record by playing in all 50 minutes in UW's double overtime loss at Ohio State on Feb. 7.

UW opened the Big  Ten Season at Nebraska Jan. 2 losing in Lincoln, 70-52. Nebraska has had only 3 losses in Big Ten play to Penn State, Illinois and Purdue.
