Paige is 12-of-12 from the free throw line the last three games. The 5-8 guard leads the team with a .929 (13-14) free throw percentage. As a team the Badgers now rank second in the Big Ten with a free throw percentage of .776. UW is 28-of-31 (.903) from the line the last three games.

Part of UW's struggles this season have been scoring from deep. The Badgers are shooting just 21.6 percent (16-of-74) from behind the arc. Wisconsin ranks 12th in the Big Ten in 3-point percentage and 10th in 3-pointers made with 4.0 per game.
Strangely, last year's Badger team was the best 3-point shooting team in UW history. Wisconsin set overall and Big Ten-season records for 3-pointers made, shooting 181-of-535 from deep last season, averaging 6.24 makes per game.

Sophomore AnnMarie Brown continues her strong play off the bench, ranking third on the team with 8.8 points per game. She also leads the team with 7.5 rebounds per game, which ties for 10th in the Big Ten.

Wisconsin's tallest player, 6-4 sophomore Cassie Rochel put together one of the best games of her career at Washington State on Nov. 18. The 6-4 post had a season-high 11 points and added a season-high eight rebounds. Rochel shot 57.1 (4-of-7) percent from the field and tallied a career-best three steals. She also shot 4-of-7 from the field against Washington on Wednesday, leading the team at .550 (11-of-20).

One freshman receiving a lot of playing time is freshman Nicole Bauman is the first Miss Wisconsin Basketball to sign at UW since Lin Zastrow signed in 2007. The 5-7 guard from New Berlin Eisenhower High School was also named the Gatorade State Player of the Year. Bauman averaged 17 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 3.1 steals per game as a senior.  She had 10 points vs. UWM and is averaging 2.5 points and 19.5 minutes per game, the most of any freshman.
