Tam Flarup:

After winning three straight, the Badgers have lost their last two games. UW lost at No. 10 Ohio State, 72-58, on Feb. 6 before falling at No. 18 Penn State, 69-54, on Feb. 9. UW is in the midst of a four-game stretch against three ranked teams. The Badgers gets a break from ranked teams on Thursday, hosting Michigan State, before wrapping up its tough stretch at No. 16 Nebraska on Sunday.

Tam Flarup:
Senior Anya Covington returned to the Badger lineup after missing two games due to a medical procedure. The 6-2 post came off the bench to score a game-high 20 points, hitting 9-of-12 (75 percent) from the field. She also pulled down five rebounds while adding one block and one steal in 24 minutes.

5:59
Tam Flarup:
Covington was sorely missed as the Badgers dropped two games in her abscence. She is the second leading scorer for UW with 10.5 points per game, and second in rebounds with 6.8 per game. Junior sharp-shooter Taylor Wurtz has led the Badgers all season with 16.2 points per game and leads on the boards with 7.4 per game.

After averaging 74.5 points for four games, Wisconsin is averaging just 56 points per game its last two games. The Badgers scored 58 points in a loss at No. 10 Ohio State on Feb. 6 and just 54 points in a loss at No. 18 Penn State on Feb. 9. The Badgers had scored 66-plus points in four straight games, including a season high 79 points in an overtime loss to Iowa on Feb. 2.

Tam Flarup:
In conference-only games, Wisconsin has three of the top 3-point shooters in the Big Ten. Senior Jade Davis, junior Taylor Wurtz and sophomore Morgan Paige all rank in the top 15 in 3-point percentage and 3-pointers made. UW is the only school with three players in both categories.

Tam Flarup:
UW set a school record at Ohio State, shooting 12-of-24 (50 percent) from 3-point range, breaking the previous record of 11 treys set in seven different games, including three games earlier this season.

Junior Taylor Wurtz moved into second on the UW career list for 3-point percentage, shooting 37.5 percent. She also ranks eighth in 3-pointers made with 145 and ninth in 3-point attempts with 387.
With one 3-pointer at Penn State on Feb. 9, Wurtz moved into at tie for sixth on the UW season list for makes. She needs 25 treys to set the season record for 3-point field goals.
