The Badgers wrapped up a three-game, six-day road trip with a 1-2 record. Wisconsin fell, 77-59, at BYU on Nov. 23 before finishing second at the Colorado Omni Classic. UW downed Montana State 71-61 on Friday to advance to the championship game. The Badgers lost to host Colorado 58-48 in the title game.

Junior Taylor Wurtz earned her first all-tournament honor, being named to the team at the Omni Colorado Classic. She averaged 19.5 points per game in the tournament, leading the Badgers to the championship game.
Wurtz scored a season-high 26 points vs. Montana State, just one short of her career best. Against the Bobcats, she shot 6-12 from the field, including 5-10 from 3-point range.

The play of sophomore Cassie Rochel will be critical this year. She picked up her first career double-double against Montana State last Friday. The 6-4 post had career highs of 14 points and 11 rebounds. Rochel made a career best four field goals and went 6-of-8 from the free throw line. She added a career-high five blocks.

After opening the season with seven games in 15 days, the Badgers finally get a rest. Wisconsin plays just one game this week, Boston College in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Badgers are 2-2 all-time in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The ACC has dominated the challenge, winning all four seasons. The 2010-11 challenge was the closest ever, with the ACC winning 6-5. The ACC won 7-4 in 2009-10 and in 2008-09 as well as an 8-3 victory in 2007-08.

Boston College is 2-2 on the season with losses at Arizona State and Rutgers, and wins over Fairleigh Dickinson and Bryant. They have only one double figure scorer in Katie Zenevitch at 11.0 points per game. They have no players taller than 6-2 which should match up well with the Badgers.

The Eagles were 23-17 last season and placed seventh in the ACC with a 5-9 record. They return seven letterwinners and two starters and welcome four newcomers.

With the win over Montana State the Badgers stopped a four-game losing streak. UW did not rebound well in the loss to the host Buffalos in the finals of the Colorado tournament. After outrebounding five of their first six opponents, the Badgers were outrebounded 46-27. It was the UW's second-lowest rebounding total this season.

In a nod to the UW men's team which usually shoots more free throws than its opponent, The Badgers have scored more free throws than five opponents this season, shooting 75.4 percent from the line. UW shot a season-high 19-of-25 from the line vs. Montana State. The Badgers have shot over 80 percent in two games this season.

Wisconsin opened the season struggling with turnovers, averaging 22.7 TOs per game through the first three games. UW turned the ball over 31 times against a pressing Oral Roberts team on Nov. 13, setting a Kohl Center record for most turnovers in a game. In their last four games, the Badgers are averaging just 16.3 turnovers per game. Wisconsin recorded a season-low 13 turnovers at Colorado last Saturday.
