Diary of the Frozen Four: Alex Rigsby

The Badgers will share their take on their Frozen Four experience in Erie, Pa. Catch up with Alex Rigsby in this diary entry.

By: Alex Rigsby

We woke up Thursday morning and right away went down to breakfast. I had a great breakfast with a lot of fruit, and it was delicious. After that, we got on the bus and headed to the rink for practice. When we got there, it was nice because Paul (Hickman) and a few others had set up the locker room for us. It looked really good when we walked in.

We got on the ice, and it was definitely nice to get our legs moving. It was a great practice, except for at the end when a few of us did a rebound game. I didn't end up winning that game, so I wasn't too happy about that.

Then after practice, we had some treats in our locker room. We all got Frozen Four hats and sweatshirts. Before we went back to the hotel, we went out onto the baseball field next to the arena and got to watch Carolyne Prevost do some somersaults and round-offs.

After that we got back to the hotel and ate lunch. A few of us decided to get some fresh air, so we went to find a little place to sit down and listen to some music and just relax. We walked to Panera and hung out there for a little until we came back to the hotel where we will hang out until tonight's championship reception.
