Badgers back among the ranked

The Wisconsin men's basketball team has climbed back into the rankings this week, jumping to No. 20 in the AP Top 25 and moving up to No. 21 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll.

The Badgers are among six Big Ten teams ranked in the coaches' poll, along with No. 2 Ohio State, No. 8 Purdue, No. 16 Illinois, No. 24 Michigan State and No. 25 Minnesota.

The Buckeyes also hold down the No. 2 spot in the AP poll, with Purdue No. 8 and Illinois at No. 16. Both Minnesota (26th) and Michigan State (27th) sit just outside the top 25.

Among the Badgers' non-conference foes this season, Notre Dame is up to No. 9 in the AP poll and No. 11 in the coaches poll. UNLV is receiving votes in both polls this week.

With the Big East featuring seven teams in the coaches' poll, the Big East and Big Ten combine to make up 13 of the 25 teams ranked this week.
