Holidays with the men's soccer team

In the holiday spirit, UWBadgers.com caught up with Max Jentsch (Hartland, Wis.), Nick Janus (Deer Park, Ill.) and Ryan Vint (Plymouth, Minn.) of the Badger men's soccer team to find out how the team celebrates the holiday season.

What are your holiday plans this year?
Max Jentsch:
I'm looking forward to going home for Christmas.

Ryan Vint: I am going to spend a lot of time relaxing and looking forward to a family trip to Colorado.

Nick Janus: My plans for the holidays are to hang out with my friends and to go downtown with my family.

Does your family have any holiday traditions?
Jentsch:
We either go to my aunt and uncle's house or we go to my house to celebrate Christmas. We always go for a search for Santa, too.

Janus: My family has our own Christmas Eve, and then we usually go to my grandma's house for Christmas Day.

What is your favorite part about this time of year?
Jentsch:
My favorite part of the year is all the delicious food that I get to eat.

Vint: Getting to see my girlfriend of eight years, Mindy.

Janus: My favorite part about this time of year is the Christmas music.

What's the best gift you've ever received?
Jentsch:
The best gift I've ever received was my moped, and the best gift I've ever given has to be the funny shirt I got my brother this year.

Janus: One Christmas I got a T.V., iPod and Xbox games.
