The Badgers were able to score three goals in the first period yesterday including a Hilary Knight goal that came just 1:44 into the game, which really helped them control the tempo early on.

UND seemed to be gaining momentum in the first half of the 2nd, especially after the penalty kill and immediate goal. But UW really came alive in the second half of the period.
