What they are saying

With their home-opening tournament last weekend, the Badger men's soccer team received media coverage from the Badger Herald, the Daily Cardinal and Wisconsin Soccer Central.

The Badgers went 0-1-1 in their home-opening weekend, but head coach John Trask was pleased with the improvement and continued progress of his young squad.

Most recently, senior goalkeeper Ryan Vint posted his second career shutout in a scoreless double-overtime draw with Dayton on Sunday, and junior Austin Spohn saw his first game action of the season against the Flyers. Freshman Trevor Wheeler joined senior Aaron Nichols on the Wisconsin Soccer Classic all-tournament team.
