Evans' European tour off to 2-0 start

Evans_Ryan_Blog_100817.jpgWisconsin sophomore forward Ryan Evans' tour of Europe with the Global Sports Academy Team is off to a strong start.

Evans and his nine teammates are 2-0 so far on their international trip, having scored a pair of wins in Belgium last week.

The Americans opened with a 76-65 win over St. Jan on Saturday, with Evans chipping in six points. An 86-80 win over Zolder followed on Sunday, with Evans dropping in eight points for the U.S. squad.

A day of rest was slotted in Monday, with the team spending the day touring London.

Three more games are on the slate for Evans and his squad, beginning with a contest against Grevenbroich tonight in Germany. Wednesday brings a game against Herten in Desseldorf, followed by a return to Belgium to face Gembo on Thursday.

The team is set to return to the U.S. on Friday.

In between, the group will have toured Bruges and Brussels in Belgium, London in England, and Dusseldorf and Cologne in Germany.
