You got it Rich... this is a big one for UW. Forget MN's record, they're a talented team. They have a point guard who UW has seen light up the scoreboard (Westbrook), they have the top 3-point shooter in the country (Hoffarber) and they have legitimate size with Sampson (6-11), Iverson (6-10) and Johnson (a long 6-7).

Leuer was cleared to return to practice on Monday and the final decision to play him was made today. No word on how many minutes he'll get... that will be dictated by the game I'm sure and his effectiveness. We'll see.

Get to the FT line (get MN bigs in foul trouble)
Hit shots (sounds obvious, but it's been a big key for UW's success over the last few weeks)
Don't let Hoffarber get open looks. He leads the NCAA in 3-point FG pct.
Don't let Westbrook go nuts... he had 29 and 18 points in two games vs. UW last season.

Tough call... freshman (particularly bigs) don't usually play many minutes as freshman. Even a guy like Leuer and Butch took a few years to grow into the role.

Free throws are the big story of that half. Fouls are 9-4 in favor of MN. That has translated to MN shooting 9-of-11 at the line and UW just 2-of-2. Big advantage there.
