Being the SID stat geek that I am, I always enjoy looking back at season to see the records set, national stats rankings and things like that to put a season in perspective. Obviously 10 wins was a huge accomplishment as only five other teams in school history have done that. But here's some other stuff you may or may not have known.

•    Scoring offense (31.8 ppg.) - led the Big Ten / 25th in the NCAA / tied for fifth in school history
•    Total offense (416.9 ypg.) - led the Big Ten / 30th in NCAA / fourth in school history
•    Rushing offense (203.8 ypg.) - led the Big Ten / 15th in NCAA / third straight season over 200.0 ypg.
•    Passing offense (213.1 ypg.) - fifth-best in school history / one of only six teams in the country with at least 200.0 yards rushing and passing per game
•    Time of possession (33:55) - led the NCAA
•    3rd down conversions (47.5 %) - second in Big Ten / 10th in NCAA / third in school history
•    Red zone offense (94.6 %) - led Big Ten / tied for third in NCAA
•    John Clay (1,517 rushing yards) - led the Big Ten / eighth in the NCAA / ninth in school history
