Back to work

The first two days in Orlando for the Badgers included things like trips to Universal Studios, SeaWorld and Disney World, a visit from Santa Claus and a Best Buy shopping spree. Oh yeah, the team also practiced for about two hours yesterday. Well today is all about preparing to face Miami.

A 10 a.m. wake-up call will be followed by breakfast from 10:30-11:30 a.m. A special teams meeting will run from 11:45-12:15 followed by an hour's worth of position meetings. The team will leave for practice at 1:30 p.m. and start its 18-period practice at 2:30 p.m. In our world, Saturday=Wednesday so defensive players and coaches will meet with the media following practice. Look for complete practice coverage, including video of player interviews, later today.

The busses should return to the team hotel around 5 p.m. with the players on their own for dinner. A number of the players' families were scheduled to get in today so it is a good time for them to catch up and share some holiday time. Wake-up is scheduled for 7:45 a.m. tomorrow.
