The Big Ten Network and the Badgers
With its inaugural season in 2007-08, the Big Ten Network is providing unprecedented access to an extensive schedule of conference sports events and shows; original programs in academics, the arts and sciences; campus activities; and associated personalities.
These national broadcasts, all in high definition, include all the conference's football games that aren't shown elsewhere. They also double the number of basketball broadcasts with at least 105 regular-season men's basketball games, 70 regular-season women's games, and nearly 200 other events from sports such as gymnstics, soccer, softball, track, and Big Ten Conference championships. With recent agreements with Time Warner, Charter Communications, Comcast Corporation, and previous agreements with Direct TV, the Dish Network and several other cable operators, it is hoped all Big Ten fans can enjoy their favorite sports on the Big Ten Network.
