| Phillip Brown |
| Phil Brown is a Professor of Economic Geology in the Department of Geoscience where he has worked since 1981. He has served as his department Chair and on numerous College and University level committees including chairing the University Committee – the steering committee for the Faculty Senate. Professionally he is interested in the formation and distribution of the metallic ore deposits that are required to support a modern economy. An avid biker, Phil played soccer for 35 years and now gives his time as a swimming official at all levels in the state. He is a graduate of Carleton College and earned 2 graduate degrees at the University of Michigan. |
