Check Out the Best Tweets and Prize Winners

Hey Badger fans, 11 of Wisconsin's 23 men's and women's sports will be competing at home this weekend. In honor of this unique circumstance, the athletic department is promoting a Twitter contest with prizes awarded throughout the weekend for creative and interesting tweets from fans attending these events.

For example, fans may be asked to tweet photos from events to qualify for prizes including Badger game tickets, merchandise and more. Show your Badger pride and attend as many events as you can. Many of the events are free, and tickets are available for most others.

The TWITTER hashmark #BadgerWknd should be used for the four-day event so everyone can track tweets on Twitter. The marathon of events starts Thursday, Jan. 21 with women's basketball at the Kohl Center vs. Penn State at 7 p.m.

Friday men's and women's hockey is in action at the Kohl Center and wrestling is at the UW Field House.

Saturday there are some FREE events with both men's and women's tennis competing at Nielsen Tennis Stadium, and men's and women's track competing at the Shell. The men's and women's swimming teams are competing at the Natatorium. The men's and women's hockey teams are also in action again Saturday at the Kohl Center.

Sunday concludes with women's tennis hosting Notre Dame at noon. Men's basketball hosts Penn State at the Kohl Center on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
